D.A. RHODES
Executive Director | Rhodes Literary Group (RLG)
D.A. Rhodes is the Executive Director for the Rhodes Literary Group, a non-profit, 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to Bringing Literacy to Life for children and adults through scholarships and writing workshops. In 2013 her passion for all things literary prompted her to start The Author’s Brunch, a bi-annual event, held in Chicago and Detroit, providing a platform for independent and aspiring authors to showcase themselves and their work. Rhodes is also the author of the award winning debut novel, WHY? and The Day Hate Stood Still.
Rhodes received a B.A. in Journalism from Columbia College.
She put her degree to work when she joined Crawford Broadcasting in 1997, where she has served as Program Director for WYCA, Community Affairs Director, and Promotions Manager. Rhodes currently co-hosts Rejoice In The Afternoons With Deb And Norris on Rejoice 102.3 FM Radio,
Rhodes lives in Northwest Indiana with her husband, Bob.

Our mission is to educate, motivate and encourage aspiring authors to understand the
fundamentals of reading, writing, and entrepreneurship, while helping them to create and write
stories that reflect their environment, speak to the issues concerning them, and explore the
deepest parts of their imagination.
